Ghost Protein Review

Ghost is a lifestyle brand that focuses on health and wellness. Their products are made from natural ingredients and help to cleanse your body. Ghost products are available online and in certain retailers.

Ghost produces protein products that can assist in weight loss programs and help ensure you get enough protein onto your diet, but why is protein so important?

The Importance Of Protein In The Diet

Proteins are found in nearly every organ and tissue of the human body. They help us grow, repair ourselves, and fight disease.

We can't make protein from scratch, but we can modify others. Amino acids are used to create proteins. Nine of these amino acids are essential.

Ghost Protein Review (1)

Protein is essential for growth and development. A healthy adult should consume at least 0.8 grams of dietary protein per kilogram of body weight each day, or around 7 grams of protein per 20 pounds of body weight each day.

Complete proteins are those containing all the necessary amino acids.

Protein is important because it builds muscle and bone structure, repairs tissues, supplies energy, and helps the body digest food. It is also one of the most recommended things to eat for muscle recovery as it fuels the repair work your body needs to do after intense workout sessions.

Hormones play an important role in regulating protein. During puberty, hormones regulate cell growth.

Powdered protein comes from many different sources. A vegan product contains protein derived from pea, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and alfalfa.

Soybean protein is also used in some products. Protein powders are a way to increase protein intake but it's important to be cautious as they can contain unexpected ingredients and large quantities of added sugar and calories.

Ghost Protein is a product made by a company called Whey Protein Laboratories. The ingredient list is short, but each type of whey has its advantages.

Isolate has the highest amount of protein, concentrates have more healthy ingredients, and hydrolyzed whey absorbs quickly.

What's nice about the Ghost protein product is that the producers disclose exactly how much whey protein they use in every serving.

Whey protein isolate and concentrate have been mixed together, and then sunflower lecithin has been added to make them easier to mix.

Whey protein isolate contains more than 50% protein, while whey protein concentrate contains less than 30%.

This means that there's more protein in each serving of this shake than in many other whey products on the market.

Protein deficiency is unlikely for most people. However, vegans, vegetarians, and others following certain types of diets may need to take extra care to ensure they're getting adequate amounts of protein.

Foods high in protein include meats, dairy products, beans, nuts, and tofu. Protein helps you feel fuller than other foods, so you eat less overall. You need more protein to lose weight.

Despite some popular opinions, protein isn't bad for your kidneys. There is no evidence that high protein diets cause kidney problems. However, if you have kidney disease, talk to your doctor about what foods you should avoid.

Benefits

Ghost enzymes are enzymes that break down proteins. Some people who have trouble digesting protein powder use ghost enzymes to help them digest it. As we know proteins are made up of amino acids.

When we eat foods containing protein, our bodies break the protein down into smaller pieces called peptides.

Peptides are then broken down further by digestive enzymes into amino acids. Amino acid molecules are then absorbed into the bloodstream.

In order for our body to absorb these amino acids, we need to have enough digestive enzymes present. Ghost enzymes are used to break down the protein before it reaches the stomach.

There is no soy, gluten, corn, or lactose in this product meaning it’s an ideal option for those following a restricted diet due to food intolerances and allergies.

This product also contains less sugar than most other products making it the perfect diet and weight loss product.

Nutrition

Ghost Protein Review (2)

Ghost Whey Protein is made up of 100% whey protein. It doesn't contain additives that could be harmful to people who may be allergic to milk products.

Ghost Vegan Protein contains a blend of pea, pumpkin, and watermelon proteins. Pea protein is an excellent source of plant-based protein. Pumpkin protein is also a great source of plant-based proteins.

Watermelon Seeds are an excellent source of protein, especially when compared to other vegetable proteins such as soybeans. Ghost Vegan Protein contains all the essential amino acids necessary for muscle growth.

Sunflower Creamer is made from a handful of simple ingredients: Sunflower Oil, Tapioca Starch, Tapioca Dextrin, Natural Flavors, and vitamin E Derived Alcohol.

Sunflower Creamer helps the protein blend nicely and distribute the flavor and protein throughout your drink, so you can enjoy a great tasting protein shake from start to end.

Watermelon seeds are also rich in vitamin A, B6, C, E, and K. Whey isolate, concentrate, or hydroxylate helps lessen bloating and indigestion because of the proteins found in these products.

Lactase helps reduce the effects of lactose naturally present in dairy, but this enzyme isn't needed when using Ghost protein.

Carb And Sugar Content

The nutritional information on the label says that each serving of Ghost protein contains between 2-4g of carbs and 1-2g fat. This is great if you're adding protein to foods with lots of carbs or fat.

Both flavors of Ghost Protein are soy-free with minimal additives and no sugar. Ghost Protein doesn't contain any artificial sweeteners.

Mixability

Whey protein hydroxylate is a type of protein made by breaking down large proteins into smaller ones.

When you combine them with whey protein isolate, you get a great combination of both proteins. Mixing them together makes a solid powder and they mix really well.

Taste/Longevity

We tried a few different flavors, but the milk chocolate flavor was our favorite. Milk chocolate tastes great with water.

With whole-milk milk, we found it a bit too sweet and creamy, though it would work well with lower-fat milk or almond milk.

Then we tried the cereal milk flavor, which tasted like the milk left over after eating a bowl of Cap'n Crunch® cereal.

That's pretty much how it tastes; some people say that it's like an unsweetened vanilla flavor, while others say that it tastes like a corn flavor.

Ghost is making family proteins whey better with a brand new Oreo-flavor shake! If like many young people these days you are embracing the  geek lifestyle you may be painfully aware of the havoc it plays on the human body so anything that you can add to your diet to create some positive motion is a plus.

You can try mixing up a bowl of oatmeal, adding two scoops of the Ghost Whey Protein Powder, and stirring it around. It tastes like vanilla ice cream which is a real bonus if you're craving something sweet.

I'm not sure how much protein there is in each serving, but I'd say it's somewhere around 10 grams.

That means that if you mix up a big batch of oatmeal every day, you could eat five servings of this protein powder without getting sick of it.

Plus, mixing it into other foods is easy. You can add a scoop to any kind of milk, whether it's regular cow's milk, soy milk, almond milk, rice milk, or even hemp milk.

You can even mix it into yogurt. Or you can put it in cereal, or add it to your oatmeal. There's no limit to what you can do with this stuff.

Ghost Whey tastes great when you're working out in the heat. It's sweet but not too sweet, and it's got a nice fruity flavor. You'll be glad to know that the flavor stays fresh even after you finish drinking it.

Price

The price of this product is very high compared to other products. It costs more than twice as much as some other similar products.

However, many people think it's worth the extra price as Ghost protein powders contain more protein than most other brands.

Reviews

Ghost Protein has been around for about two years now, but it still receives high ratings. People love the taste of the product and how well it blends into shakes.

However, some customers complain about the inclusion of whey protein concentrate.

To Shake Or Not To Shake?

Choosing whether to use protein shakes in your daily diet comes down to personal choice but it’s true to say protein shakes and powders are becoming more popular than ever before.

Many people use them for muscle growth, weight loss, and injuries recovery.

However, there are some downsides to using protein shakes you should bear in mind. Just like adding too much of anything to your diet may affect your system, you might find you get headaches if you eat too much protein after drinking protein shakes or powders, so be mindful of how many protein shakes a day you should take.

High protein diets increase energy expenditure - the calories you burn - in two different ways.

Your body burns more calories by digesting protein than carbs or fat, and this metabolic response to food is called Diet Induced Thermogenesis (DIT).

DIT indicates the amount of energy needed to metabolize protein relative to the number of calories ingested.

Its value ranges from 15 to 30 percent in contrast to 5 – 10 percent for carbs and 0 – 3 percent for fat.

High-protein diets may be more effective than low-carbohydrate diets in helping people lose weight.

However, they also cause an increase in blood sugar levels, which could lead to increased hunger, again you should be guided by your body and exercise caution.

High protein diets are known to help you lose weight by promoting fat oxidation and fat loss. Protein shakes may help you lose fat from your midsection, but there isn't enough evidence yet to say whether this happens because of increased protein consumption.

Whey protein powder helps you stay lean by increasing muscle mass and burning more calories than other types of proteins. You should consume about 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight each day.

Conclusion

There you have it, a review of Ghost protein and some information on the benefits of a protein rich diet. Stay healthy everyone!
