As far as rest goes, it is of course a very individual thing. However, when it comes to nutrition, most will agree that a proper balanced diet consisting of foods from the food pyramid is essential. Also, essential is the proper amount of protein and complex carbohydrates. You should continuously change your workout so your muscles never adapt to the same routine.
